What is RavenHurst?

RavenHurst is a user made mission pack for Hexen II Portal of Praveus and is being developed by a small but very dedicated and talented team of people. It is singleplayer only at the moment with Co-op play being planned as well.

What Do I Need to Play RavenHurst?

To be able to play Ravenhurst you must have the full registered version of Hexen II and the official Hexen II mission pack: Portal of Praveus.

However it is highly recommended that you download and install NewHexen as it adds a great deal of features and improvements to Hexen II which Ravenhurst will be utilizing. Also if you use NewHexen to play Ravenhurst you won't need to have the Hexen II Mission Pack.

What are the System Requirements?

The absolute minimum requirements for Ravenhurst would be the ones for Hexen II, these being:

-Windows 95 or NT 4.0 with 100% compatible computer system
-Pentium 90 mhz processor (120 mhz recommended)
-Memory:
Win 95: 16 MB RAM (24 MB recommended)
Win NT: 24 MB RAM required
-Dual speed CD-ROM drive (300k/sec sustained transfer rate)
-Hard disk with at least 120mb of uncompressed disk space.
-100% Sound Blaster compatible soundcard.

However it is unlikely you will get a playable experience with these specs because the levels in Ravenhurst are considerably more detailed and expansive than the levels from original Hexen II. With todays systems however you shouldn't have a problem getting the horsepower to run Ravenhurst.

When will Ravenhurst be released?

The release date for RavenHurst is still up in the air. It is quite a ambitious project and one that I've taken up mostly all by myself in what little spare time I have. Because of that all I can say is that it will be released when it's done. However you can snatch the demo at the Downloads section of this site.
