Cloud Fortress Labs:
Maintained by Sidhe Priest, this site is dedicated to the remixing of the original Heretic and Hexen soundtracks. Take a peek if you liked Kevin Schilder's awesome work in the Heretic/Hexen series.

The Eye of Horus:
A great if static site on entity information on Hexen II and it's mission pack: Portal of Praveus. Definitively priceless for any mappers working with Hexen II.

HereticII.com:
A great site dedicated to all things Heretic II.

Soldier-of-Fortune.com:

Agent of Chaos:
A site for the late mission pack once in the works for Hexen II. Unfortunatly it's been abandoned long ago but is still a worth a look to see what could haave been.

Siege:
The premier mod for Hexenworld, two teams face off against each other: one must defend a castle while the other strives to invade it.

Rival Kingdoms:
Similar ot Siege, except each team now has it's own castle it must defend while attempting at the same time to break in the others.

Hexarena:
This is the Rocket Arena of Hexenworld. Two players face off against each other with full ammo and all weapons, skill and tactics define the victor, who then must face the next challenger.

CTF:
Brings the thrills of Capture the Flag to Hexenworld, I'm sure you know what the mod entails ;-).

DungeonBreak:
Similar to the Jailbreak mod for Quake II, this mod pits two teams against each other. The goal is to kill the entire opposing team, therefore imprisoning them and executiong them all.

Ghost:
A great mod which brings many new features to Hexenworld.

NVT Dm/Siege:
Allows players to vote for their favorite maps in DM and Siege.

Cronos Bots:
If you're really looking for some offline MP action you can try out these bots made for Hexen II, while not that great they can give a little bit of fun.

Hexenworld.net:
The predecessor of Raven-games.com, this site now hosts many vintage sites that are no longer updated but still have a lot of interesting content.

Quark:
A powerfull multi-purpose editor which supports many different games.

The Chop Shop:
Contains a lot of information for editing Hexen II, Quake I+II, Sin, Jedi Knight: Dark Forces and Half-Life

The Quakelab I:
An static but usefull site for anyone working with the Quake engine, contains especially usefull help on errors encountered with BSP, Light and VIS compilers.

The Quakelab II:
Another seemingly abandoned site dedicated on editing Quake II, still a usefull repository of information.

Telejano:
A superb engine for Quake, featuring a lot of great effects.

Tenebrae:
Featuring full real-time per-pixel lighting and gloss/bumpmaps this engine will give you a littel taste of what Doom III will be like, that is if you have a computer fast enough to run it >:-)

Darkplaces:
Another popular engine for Quake, give it a try.

DMSP:
This great mod pits you against a horde of monsters in any deathmatch map you want, let the invasion begin!

Nehehra:
One of, if not the best, mission packs made for Quake. Give it a spin, you won't be disappointed.

Quake II Sites:

Quake II Max:
Bringing particles, shaders, and more to the Quake II game, this mod is a must have if you like to play Quake II and it's many mods. Currently my favorite one of them all.

Quake II Evolved:
While not officially released yet, this mod claims to have an impressive feature list.

Gloom:
Aliens Vs Marines in a Sci-Fi Futurist setting featureing multiple classes per race with an ultra creepy atmosphere and pulse pounding action, What more could you want from in a mod? Soon to be coming to Quake III!

Coop or Die:
This new mod brings new life into Quake II's singleplayer and Coop experience. With new enhancements like adjusting ammo/health per number of players, randomized monsters and a new 'Challenge' mode which gives you one life to pass the game, this mod is heaven for Coopers or anyone who wants a bigger challenge ot of Quake II.

Dawn of Darkness\: (Patch)
Originally slated to be made for the Quake II engine, this TC for Quake II pit's you in the shoes of Roarke, a ruthless mercenary out to save his daughter from the invading Cheitan army. All that remain of this mod are the released first chapter and it's patch. Still good for a little singleplayer fun.

Half Life Sites:

Existence:
What is Existence? This mod which was inspired by the Matrix brings it's own flavor of action and teamwork to the Half-life mod scene.

Natural Selection:
A multiplayer Strategy first person shooter? Yep! Check out this awesome mod which won Gamespy's Mod of the Year 2002 and see what all the hype is about.

Counter Strike:
Shunned by many, loved by many more. This super popular mod for Half-life has earned the devotion of countless fans.

BattleTech Sites:

Dropship Command:
One of the best places to get news, chat and argue about the Battletech world!

Megamek:
This small but nifty program brings the game of pen and paper Battletech to the PC! Now you can play it with your friend across the world or on the some computer.

Soldat:
This awesome shareware program brings 2D multiplayer action to the 21st century. Combinging elements from Quake, Liero, Worms, Tribes, and Counter-strike to make an addictively fun game.

Mountain King Games:
Creators of the popular Demonstar series, this sharware develor is a must stop for anyone interested in fun, fast games.

Max Payne Kung Fu Edition:
Bringing the world of Kung Fu to Max Payne, this mod already features a lot of fun features.

Tribes II:
One of the best MP team games ever.

Croteam "Get Serious!":
Creators of the frantic Serious Sam Series, need I say more?

The All Seeing Eye:
A great, fast game server browser which supports all the most popular games and then some.

Omega Drivers:
Want to get more detail and features out of you Nvidia or Ati cards? Here's the place to go.

Heavy Metal FAKK2:
I've never watched the movie, or comic, actually I'm not sure what it's based on but it's still one very fun game. IMO it has a better third person control scheme that Heretic II itself.

Winamp:
If you haven't heard about Winamp by now then you should get out of your hole! One of the best free media players on the web to date.

Modplug Player:
Similar to Winamp, but it can play files that it can't like Unreal Tournament music files.

3DNA Desktop:
Want to turn you desktop into a little more interesting? Visit the 3DNA site and make you desktop the envy of others.

Ad-Aware:
A very usefull (and free!) program that scans you memory, registry and hard drive for spyware, ad-ware and other unwanted programs and then removes them for you.

ICQ:
A great program to chat in realtime with your net buddies.

ICQ Plus:
Lets you give you a ICQ a new look by downloading new skins.

CuteFTP:
A very fast and easy to use FTP program.

CDEX:
A nice program for copying tracks off of your cds into wav files.

Diskeeper:
One of the best disk defragmenters out there, not free but quite cheap.

Macromedia Dreamweaver 4:
An great easy to learn HTMP editor.
